How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is a flat $650.00 to any address in the contiguous 48 states — the amount is shown in your delivered total before you pay, with no surprises. Alaska, Hawaii, islands, and limited-access sites are quoted separately.
How long after I order until my unit is dispatched?
After your order is placed and payment clears, dispatch takes about 5–7 business days — that covers final inspection, prep and freight booking. You receive your reference and invoice the moment you order, and we keep you updated as the unit is booked with the carrier.
How long is transit once it ships?
After dispatch, freight and oversized units (containers, structures, trailers) travel according to distance and carrier scheduling — typically several business days across the contiguous 48. The carrier contacts you directly to set a delivery appointment, so you always know when the truck is due.
Do you deliver to all 50 states?
Yes. Flat-rate delivery covers the contiguous 48 states; Alaska, Hawaii, and remote/island locations are delivered too, with any additional cost quoted before shipping.
Are your products new or used?
We offer both new and used units where noted. Every item's condition is stated on its product page, and used/cargo-worthy units are inspected before delivery.
Where are the specs for a unit?
Every listing carries a full specification sheet on the product page — dimensions, capacity, condition grade, key features and any included paperwork — next to real photos of the actual unit and its delivered price. If a measurement or detail you need isn't shown, email or call and we'll confirm it before you order.
How do I pay?
Payment is by bank transfer (ACH or wire). After you place your order, we email an itemized invoice with the full delivered total — item price plus the flat $650.00 — and you settle it by bank transfer. Nothing is charged automatically, no card details are collected, and your order is confirmed once payment is received. (Card payment is coming soon.)
Do you offer financing?
We don't provide in-house financing — orders are paid in full by bank transfer against your itemized invoice. You're welcome to arrange your own funding through your bank, a business line of credit, or a third-party equipment lender; we'll supply the invoice and any documentation your lender needs to release funds.
What do I need for delivery?
Freight items arrive by truck and are typically delivered curbside. You'll need a level, accessible spot with room for the delivery vehicle. Let us know about tight access ahead of time so we can plan the drop.
Can I return an item?
Yes — most items can be returned within 30 days in new, resalable condition. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full conditions and who pays return shipping.
Is sales tax included in the price?
Prices shown are the item price. Any applicable sales tax is calculated based on your destination and shown on your invoice before payment. See our Sales Tax Policy for details.
Can I get a quote first?
Every unit is already priced with the full delivered total on its page, so you can order directly — no waiting on a quote. If you'd still like an itemized all-in quote in writing, email sales@steelhaulau.com or call and we'll send one, usually within one business day.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. The site is SSL-encrypted. You approve an itemized invoice showing the full delivered total before any payment is due, then pay securely by bank transfer — no card details are collected up front.
